Enable SNMP for Solaris 10 and Solaris 11

Edit community string, acl on config file:
/etc/sma/snmp/snmpd.conf
By default SNMP service is installed and enabled on Solaris 10 with service name:
sma
After change config file you need to restart sma service for changes take effect.
# svcadm restart sma
MIB located in: /etc/sma/snmp/mibs/

Edit community string, acl on config file:
/etc/net-snmp/snmp/snmpd.conf
By default SNMP service is installed and disabled on Solaris 10 with service name:
net-snmp
so we need to enable it:
# svcadm enable net-snmp
MIB located in: /etc/net-snmp/snmp/mibs/
You can test using snmpwalk
# snmpwalk -v2c -cpublic IP_ADDRESSLabels: sma, snmp, snmpd.conf net-snmp, solaris
